Learning to Program

Notes: This wiki is new and only contains a few resources. It should contain more soon

All resources on this wiki are FREE to use, but the individual licenses vary from product to product.

If you are learning to program, or want more information for a specific language, this wiki is for you.

The first link for each language is the tutorial I feel is most beneficial for learning the language. Other resources are on that languages page.

Introduction to Programming

This wiki is not meant to be a programming tutorial or guide. However, I wrote this to give you a quick guide to programming, or rather, learning to program. It is not a tutorial for any specific language, but it will give you an idea of what programming entails.

Programming Tools

There are many tools you can use to program. Although you can edit source code in Microsoft's Notepad, I do not recommend it. There are much better text editors out there. Also, you will need compilers and interpreters for most languages. This page has a collection of tools I find to be essential.
